Day One: Arrival

At Sunwolf your wedding weekend starts when you and your guests arrive on day one to check into one of cozy cabins each one a haven of comfort and serenity amidst the wild embrace of the great outdoors. The cabins can house a maximum of 52 guests, but don’t let that deter you if you have more guests than that. There are many other accommodation options on and off the property.

Other accommodation

Another option is to rent the Cheekeye Lodge right on the property as an add-on to your weekend rental. The lodge sleeps 16 people, and has a wonderful games room (with a climbing wall!). For weddings with even more guests, you can checkout the various hotels in Squamish city centre, just a short drive away.

You can cap off day one by gathering at the firepit area, roasting marshmallows and listening to the crackling sound of firewood.

Day Two: Wedding Day

Sunwolf gives you and your guests access to the entire property. On your wedding day, you will have many choices for where you want to get ready. Anywhere you choose, you will have access to beautiful décor, big windows letting in lots of natural light and a beautiful forest as your background.

This is an indoor multi-purpose space at Sunwolf, and for your wedding weekend, you get access to this room to use it as you choose. Store your decor and flowers, hold your welcome dinner or use it as a baby sitting area. Getting ready here would make for wonderful photos among your wedding party.

Your ceremony takes place outdoors, under a beautiful canopy of trees. Or, you can take your ceremony even closer to nature and get married by the river that runs by the property.

This expansive field is where your grand tent will provide the perfect space for you and your loved ones to dance the night away. How you decorate your grand tent is only limited by your imagination. Below is one way to do it to add extra magic to an already magical place.

As evening falls and the stars emerge to watch over your celebration, the outdoor reception area comes alive with the twinkling lights of love and laughter. Underneath a grand tent (which you’ll have to rent but trust me, it’s worth it!), adorned with rustic charm and elegant touches, you and your guests will dine, dance, and revel in the joy of togetherness. Day Three: Farewell

Is there anything better to do on the morning after your big celebration than to feast on the most delicious brunch in Squamish? Let Fergie’s café take care of that for you. Then, take a stroll along the river, and if you time it right during salmon run, you’ll see salmon swimming upstream.
