Love Among the Cherry Blossoms: A Pre-Wedding Photoshoot in Vancouver

There’s something truly magical about the Cherry Blossom season in Vancouver. Two weeks into the spring, at the picturesque Lou Moro Park, our theme was "Love among the Cherry Blossoms," and it was an unforgettable experience with a newly engaged couple. This year, Bouvardia Events had the pleasure of organizing a pre-wedding photoshoot for a young couple. The love in the air and the cherry blossoms came together to capture this enchanting“Spring”.

Setting the Scene

Our chosen location, Lou Moro Park, provided the ideal backdrop with its sprawling cherry trees heavy with blossoms. We set up under a particularly stunning tree, where the branches were adorned with delicate pink flowers. The outdoor glam decor featured elegant furniture arrangements, an area rug, and plenty of faux florals to complement the natural beauty around us. To add a touch of celebration, champagne was also a key element of our setup (pst! it’s actually ginger ale).

The Couple and Their Style

Tiffany and Jay, our wonderful couple, were the perfect couple for this romantic theme. Jay looked dapper in a classic tie and suspenders, while Tiffany wore an elegant flowing gown from Charm Wedding Designs, embellished with floral appliqués that mirrored the cherry blossoms. Her accessories included a beautiful hairpiece and pearl earrings, completing her soft glam look with long Hollywood waves styled by YesMona.

Memorable Moments

The day was filled with laughter and joy as we prepped Tiffany and Jay for the photos. One particularly fun moment was teaching Jay how to lift Tiffany for a photo, resulting in many laughs and beautiful shots. Another standout memory was holding down the tree branches so Nadia could capture the magical image of Tiffany seemingly inside the blossoms.

Capturing the Details

Nadia did an exceptional job capturing the essence of the day. Some of the standout photos included detailed shots of the shoes, perfume bottle, earrings, hairpieces, and the ring. Of course, the images of Tiffany enveloped by cherry blossoms were breathtaking.

Overcoming Challenges

Finding the perfect spot for our shoot was no easy task. The Bahar and Mona scouted over 20 locations across Metro Vancouver to find a site that wasn’t too busy and had cherry blossom trees with branches close to the ground. Our efforts paid off, and Lou Moro Park provided the idyllic setting we had envisioned.

Inspiring Future Events

This photoshoot was a wonderful experience, resulting in stunning photos and a happy couple.
